Again, I used the pinch method to create these bowls. These pieces were placed in a kiln, a furnace for burning, baking or drying ceramics. The glaze used was a glossy surface produced by coating the bowls with a substance similar in composition to clay but with a fluxing agent added to permit melting at a temperature lower than that of the clay.
